Just outside downtown Seattle sits the largest building in the world by volume, the Boeing Everett Factory. On this guided tour, witness the behind-the-scenes production of the 747, 767, 777, and the newest and most advanced plane, the 787 Dreamliner.

Your tour starts off with a short introductory video before you walk through the 2.33-mile (3.7-km) maze of tunnels sitting below the factory. Once inside the hangar, watch as an airplane's wings, tail, and engines come together for a more recognizable end product.

As you make your way to the Future of Flight Aviation Center, your knowledgeable tour guide relates fascinating Boeing Factory trivia—like the fact that actual clouds formed inside the massive factory when it was first constructed because there was no ventilation.

Arrive at the museum for up-close views of a variety of engine types as well as a chance to play on an interactive design zone computer and sit in an actual cockpit. Stand next to several jet engines and a 747 vertical stabilizer to truly appreciate the innovation that goes into creating these enormous airplanes.

Take the elevator up to the Strato Deck observation area for an overview of the factory, various runways, and maybe even a glimpse at the Seahawks-themed “12th Man” 747.
