Day 1

Stand before the Liberty Bell, walk through Congress Hall, and stroll by the centuries-old homes of Elfreth's Alley.

The trappings of modern life fade away as you enter Lancaster County, the heart of Amish farming country. Go for a buggy ride, shop for handcrafted wares, and spend some time learning about life without present-day amenities. Day 2
Spend a full day absorbing the sights of Washington D.C., beginning with a morning visit to Arlington National Cemetery. Tour the U.S. Mint to learn how counterfeiters are kept at bay, then check out the government buildings on Capitol Hill. Admire the White House on Pennsylvania Avenue on your way to the monuments of the National Mall.
