Description:

Marvel at amazing rock formations like Capitol Butte, Chimney Rock and Lizard Head as you travel along the Diamondback trail in the Sonoran Desert. Next, venture out to 700-year-old Native American ruins to explore the history and incredible artwork of the area's ancient inhabitants.

As your guide takes you through the red sandstone wilderness in a custom-built Jeep® Wrangler, several incredible rock formations come into view. You can see Capitol Butte – one of the desert's highest summits – followed by Lizard Head, which strikingly resembles the creature from which it gets its name.

Get another picture opportunity at Chimney Rock, which towers up from the magnificent landscape, before the journey takes you into the depth of the gulch. It won't be long before the ancient Sinaguan cliff dwellings come into view, giving you a look 700 years back in time.

Walk on land once cultivated by the Sinaguan people and admire the remains of their dwellings. Your guide reveals customs and legends about these native people and helps interpret the many rock arts found on the cliff walls.
