Description:

Spend a day away from the resorts, and experience the life of a local Bedouin farmer. Learn about the farming skills needed in the desert as you assist your host in their day-to-day tasks. Enjoy a traditional lunch, make local bread, and explore the medicinal herbs grown in the area.

Swap the urban style for the rural Egyptian life as you head out to the desert toward Wadi Murrah. Here, greet your host who shows you the farm before you get your hands on your agrarian duties. Learn about the agriculture of the area, as you may be planting, installing fences, or helping with any other tasks your host may have.

After working up your appetite, watch as your host prepares a traditional Bedouin lunch in an open-fire camp. Help by mastering the skill of bread making, and then prepare to indulge in a delicious meal. After feeling re-energized, it's time for a short trek to a nearby lookout. Admire the pastoral views and explore the indigenous herbs grown in the desert as your host explains their medicinal use.

Head back to the farm for a warm cup of Bedouin tea, and then share a warm farewell with your host before you return to your hotel.
