After a safety briefing you're ready to hit the waters of the Skykomish River. Whether you chose an easy-to-paddle route or an adrenaline-pumping one, you're sure to enjoy the stunning natural landscape around you. Keep your eyes wide open and be alert to your guide, who points out some of the flora and fauna of the region—including bald eagles, osprey, and hawks that make this river valley their home.
Listen to stories of pioneers as you paddle along natural clay deposits, warm water springs, and swimming holes. You can even stop at stunning viewpoints for postcard-worthy pictures.
