After crossing the famous Golden Gate Bridge to the Muir Woods National Monument, begin your adventure with a refreshing stroll through the multistory redwood forest. Stop for a quick lunch beside a variety of boutiques in Sonoma, then venture through the scenic California countryside to 3–4 small and medium-production wineries in Sonoma County.
Taste test 5-10 unique wines at each winery and learn the history of the variety of wines grown and made right in Northern California’s backyard. Before returning to your hotel in San Francisco, stop for a breathtaking photo of the Golden Gate Bridge from the Marin Headlands.
