Description:
Enjoy a day exploring the history and unspoiled natural beauty of the Krka National Park. On the way, stop at the town of Sibenik and the outstanding UNESCO-listed St. James Cathedral. At the national park, enjoy the breathtaking views and a walk with stops for swimming in the clear waters.
Start out in the morning with a scenic drive inland from the coast to Sibenik. Don’t forget your camera to take some pictures of the important Renaissance cathedral that towers over the town’s pretty central square.
Move on to the national park entry point and onto Skradinski Buk, where, along with your guide, you take a pleasant stroll along the wooden pathways that sit above the waters of the River Krka. Enjoy the peace and quiet, where the only noise is the faint birdsong and the flowing of waterfalls. If you feel like cooling off, you are welcome to take a dip in the refreshing waters and swim under the waterfalls.
Visit the still-active, hundred-year-old water mill, and enjoy some free time to explore the park further, take a break in the sunshine, or opt to purchase lunch in one of the local restaurants. In the late afternoon, make your way back to the coast for drop-off at your hotel in Split or Trogir.
