Learn about the fascinating native animals that call Australia home with a day at the WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo. Featuring 8 natural habitats with more than 250 species including koala bears, kangaroos, and wallabies, your Down Under animal explorey inspires, as much as it educates.

Start your journey though Australia’s wildlife in the Butterfly Tropics, where vividly colored butterflies flit near vibrant green tree pythons. Head on to Gum Tree Valley to see one of the country’s best known species—the iconic koala bear. Make sure to stop by Koala Encounters later to snap a photo with one of these cuddly little tree-dwellers.

Next, see the yellow-footed wallabies at Wallaby Cliffs before you delve into the Daintree Rainforest. Here, you meet the Southern cassowary—the world’s deadliest bird. Bounce on to the Kangaroo Walk-About to find hopping Eastern Grey Kangaroos, along with a crew of other animals from the Outback.
