Sample Shanghai Dumplings, Turkish Pizza, Greek dishes, and enjoy a glass of Wine as you stop and learn about the neighborhood’s colorful history from a passionate local Chef.

Packed with restaurants and home to Toronto’s annual Taste of Danforth street festival, the Danforth—or Greektown as it’s also known—is celebrated for its Mediterranean cuisine. It’s not all moussaka and saganaki though—there are plenty of other ethnic eats to explore in this popular pocket of downtown. Set out with a resident chef to eat your way between Old World bakeries and shops churning out Shanghai-style dumplings, learning about the area’s rich cultural heritage along the way.
