Description:
Take an incredible journey through the heart of the Outback with 3 days in the majestic expanse of the Red Centre. See Uluru and Kata Tjuta, some of the most striking rock structures in Australia, learn about Aboriginal culture through native arts and crafts, and admire the vast nighttime sky.
Day 1:
Travel from Ayers Rock Airport to get a spectacular view of Uluru in the sunset. Enjoy a glass of wine as the sun sinks over the western horizon, casting the giant stone monolith in a striking red light.
After sunset, visit an exclusive barbecue site within Uluru- Kata Tjuta National Park, where you can dine on a variety of Australian meats and salads with a glass of sparkling wine or orange juice. After dinner, take a break with tea, coffee, and biscuits as your guide walks you through the sights of the night sky and Aboriginal stories that relate to the stars.
Day 2:
The next morning takes you to the charming Mutitjulu Waterhole. View the native flora and Aboriginal rock paintings as your guide explains the secrets of the area. Next, visit the Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre for a look at some traditional Aboriginal arts and crafts.
In the afternoon, visit the giant sandstone formations of Kata Tjuta. Follow your guide on a 2-3 hour walk in the valley between the massive red conglomerate rocks and learn the about the geological history that produced them. When you reach the Valley of the Winds Lookout, take some time to gaze out over the central valley and enjoy a magnificent Outback sunset.
Day 3:
An early start gives you a chance to see a magnificent desert sunrise as you make your way to Kings Canyon. After breakfast at Kings Creek Station, climb to the rim of the canyon for some marvelous views of Watarrka National Park or explore the boulder-strewn canyon floor for an easier walk in the shade.
In the afternoon, a transfer takes you back to Alice Springs to bring your tour to an end.

If you have a good level of fitness and weather conditions permit, you can choose to climb Uluru on Day 2 as an alternative to the Mutitjulu Walk and Cultural Centre visit.,
You must arrange your own accommodation in Alice Springs after the tour ends on Day 4.,
