Description:
Take a journey to see the awesome scenery and wildlife of the Outback with a 3-day tour to the country's iconic natural sights. Admire the sandstone monolith of Uluru and the rugged landscape of Kings Canyon, and explore the land that inspired Australia's Aboriginal and European residents alike.
Day 1:
Begin your tour with a ride to the giant domed outcrops of Kata Tjuta, and enjoy panoramic views of the structure as you make your way to the base of Walpa Gorge. From there, take a walking trail that follows a natural creek between two of Kata Tjuta's tallest domes, and then travel to the Uluru sunset viewing area to watch the striking scenery of the landscape at sunset.
Day 2:
Get up early in the morning to visit the Uluru sunrise viewing area, Talinguru Nyakunytjaku. Watch the first rays of dawn fall across the Red Centre before your guide takes you on a tour around the base of Uluru.
Next, visit the charming Mutitjulu Waterhole and see Aboriginal rock paintings as your guide describes the area's history and native wildlife. Visit the Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre, where you can see Aboriginal arts and crafts to learn about their traditions and culture.
Day 3:
In the morning, you can either join a guided 3-hour climb to the rim of Kings Canyon, where you can find marvelous views of Watarrka National Park, or take a more leisurely route to explore the boulder-strewn canyon floor. After a lunchtime stop at Kings Creek Station, head back to Alice Springs as your tour comes to an end.

If you have a good level of fitness and weather conditions permit, you can choose to climb Uluru on Day 2 as an alternative to the Mutitjulu Walk and Cultural Centre visit.,
