Description:

Spend 4 exciting days exploring the best of Central Australia and the world-famous Uluru (Ayers Rock). Marvel at a breathtaking sunrise and sunset at the rock. Hike through Kata Tjuta and the red rocks of Kings Canyon. Discover the remote wilderness of MacDonnell National Park.

Day 1: Alice Springs/Ayers Rock
Your adventure begins in Alice Springs with a visit to a working camel farm. Move on to hike the 36 domes of Kata Tjuta. That evening, gather to watch the sun set majestically over Uluru and spend the night sleeping under the star-filled sky.

Day 2: Ayers Rock/Kings Canyon
An early start lets you enjoy the splendor of an Uluru sunrise before learning of the rock's significance to the local tribesmen, with a walk guided by an Aboriginal Australian. Appreciate the indigenous arts and crafts at the Cultural Center.

Day 3: Kings Canyon/Alice Springs
Trek along the crater rim of this huge untouched canyon. Savor the incredible views over the amphitheater before climbing up to the peak and exploreing the park's Lost City and Garden of Eden.

Day 4: MacDonnell Ranges/Alice Springs
Start the morning fresh with a morning walk through the rainbow coloured walls of Ormiston Gorge and be awed by the contrasting colours the morning light casts on the cliff faces. Embrace the panoramic views of Ellery Creek and perhaps take a dip in the still waters of this magnificent hidden gem. Visit the world famous Simpsons Gap, a prominent place in Aboriginal communities around the area where dreamtime stories cross paths.
