Description:
Watch the majestic sunrise overlooking the rock formations of Uluru and Kata Tjuta while riding on the back of a camel. Follow an experienced tour guide across the wide-open desert landscape and learn about the area's natural history for the ultimate adventure in the Australian outback.
Rise early and gaze at the stars as you head towards the farm where your ride begins. Upon arrival, get acquainted with your personable guide, make friends with your camel, and then set off on a 1-hour ride through the desert. As your convoy traverses the dunes, watch the sun rise over the giant sandstone monoliths of UIuru and Kata Tjuta, learn about the area's Aboriginal history, and see exotic flora and fauna that have adapted to live in these harsh conditions.
Return to the farm for a chance to snap pictures with the camels before relishing a meal of outback bush foods. Indulge in freshly baked beer-bread damper with quandong jam and a cup of tea or freshly brewed coffee.
