Description:

Feel the wind rush past on a wildlife-viewing tour of British Columbia's rugged coast in a high-speed inflatable boat. Experienced guides lead this 2-hour adventure where you see stunning cliffs, mysterious caves, good-natured harbor seals, and the Vancouver skyline from the idyllic Strait of Georgia.

The custom-designed boats used on this excursion are 28-foot (8.5-meter), high-speed, rigid-hull inflatables powered by twin 225-horsepower engines. Depart from Horseshoe Bay toward Pam Rocks, the site of a harbor seal colony that is often complemented by bald eagles in the sky overhead. Then sail to Christie Islet, a national bird sanctuary in Howe Sound, to view a wide variety of seabirds.

Your tour continues to the Strait of Georgia for a striking Vancouver cityscape by sea. Visit small islands before gliding beside the famous Sea to Sky Highway that heads toward Whistler Mountain. Finally, take a peek at the waterfront homes along the shore of West Vancouver as you return to Horseshoe Bay.
