Then head to the Sculpture Garden—an elegant garden with canopy trees, flowering trees, shrubs, and a fountain that doubles as an ice skating ring during the winter months. Made possible by an agreement in 1991 between the National Park Service and the National Gallery of Art, the Sculpture Garden now offers year-round enjoyment for the public.
