Description:
Discover the scenic Yarra Valley, only 1 hour away from Melbourne, on this guided winery tour via comfortable coach. Explore the area's gorgeous wine region and enjoy a great day visiting a combination of boutique and premium wineries, such as the famous Domaince Chandon.
Meet your guide at St. Paul's Cathedral, hop aboard your coach, and travel northeast of Melbourne to the picturesque Yarra Valley. Upon arrival, your first stop is the notable Moet & Chandon winery. Take the chance to stroll around the winemaking facilities and enjoy a glass of sparkling or still wine with nibbles.
Next, head to Zonzo at Train Trak Wines to sample some hand-harvested boutique varietals. Later, refuel with a tasty 2-course lunch over a glass of wine, coffee, or tea and overlooking the stunning vineyard. After lunch, make your way to the historic Yering Station, the oldest vineyard in the valley. While here, don’t miss the opportunity to taste great vintages, including the excellent cuvée, and perhaps purchase some at their shop.
Continue your tour to De Bortoli and swirl and slurp your way through a wide selection of unique sparkling red or white wine. Sample the iconic Noble One Botrytis Semillon, the nation's number 1 dessert wine, before your coach brings you back to the city center.
