After passing through the world’s largest man-made port at Jebel Ali, your tour in Abu Dhabi starts at the Heritage Village, a fortress-like compound that gives a glimpse into life before the city became oil-rich. A refreshing drive along the Corniche, with breathtaking views of the skyline and the Al Hisn Fort, brings you to the Emirates Palace, reputed to be the world’s most exclusive hotel, and Sheikh Khalifa’s palace, where the UAE’s president resides.
