Visit Ussher Fort, a decrepit structure of rain-washed white stone, now transformed into a museum dedicated to the history of the slave trade. At this “gate of no return” for slaves preparing to be shipped across the Atlantic, see chilling artifacts including neck and ankle shackles and rusted branding irons.
