Description:

Become immersed in remarkable Swiss scenery while spending a day in the Alps. Journey across 3 mountain passes, walk over Aare Gorge, and take a stroll through the Rhone Glacier, surrounded by its enduring ice.

Hop on board your minibus and take in amazing views along your journey. Cross Brünig Pass, at 3,307 feet (1,008 m), and head into the Bernese Oberland before stopping at Aare Gorge. Use the sturdy footbridge to walk over the gorge. Breathe in the fresh mountain air before heading out toward Grimsel Pass. The surrounding landscape gives way to a stunning view of Dead Lake.

The mountainous climb then continues to Rhone Glacier, where you journey into ice through a 328-foot (100-m) long blue-ice tunnel that leads to a unique ice room. After a short break, ascend even farther up the Alps to the 7,975-foot (2,431-m) Furka Pass, which offers sweeping views of Gotthard Massif and Urseren Valley.

Travel through Realp to Andermatt and then Schöllenen Gorge—set at the foot of the Saint Gotthard Pass and featuring the legendary Devil's Bridge—before returning to Zurich.
