Description:
In Rhodes, take a daytrip to tour the archaeological site of Kamiros, try meze, and visit a renowned monastery. Grab your walking shoes to explore small traditional villages and enjoy convenient roundtrip transportation to and from North Rhodes hotels.
After pickup from your hotel, your excursion starts with a guided tour at the ancient site of Kamiros before a coffee break at Old Kamiros Café on the beach. As the day continues, visit the tiny village of Kritinia and admire the panoramic view of the sea before your next stop, Apollona.
At the town of Apollona, stop by a small traditional shop, taste the local spirit, Souma, and visit the church of Holy Cross and perhaps opt to explore the museum. During free time for lunch at a traditional Greek tavern, seize the opportunity to taste the amazing Greek “meze.”
After lunch, continue up to the mountain of Profitis Ilias for a coffee break. As your ride continues, you have the chance to visit the Fountoukli monastery, one of the most famous monasteries of Rhodes, and admire its frescoes. On the way back, pass through villages of Eleousa and Archipoli before the last stop, the Valley of the Seven Springs, and return to your hotel.
