Description:

With this multi-day escape you truly experience all that the New Zealand wilderness has to offer. Enjoy the perfect mix of thrilling adventure, delectable food, and comfortable accommodation. Explore northern Rangitikei's natural landscape by foot, on horseback, and over river rapids.

Day 1
Arrive at the luxurious River Valley Lodge and settle down in the quaint country surroundings. Begin your evening with a tasty dinner (own expense) before lying in your deluxe room for the evening.

Day 2
Enjoy a late wake-up call on your second day and a hearty breakfast served in the main lodge. Simply sit back and take in the take a breaked atmosphere as you enjoy a massage at the River Valley Spa. Hop on one of the lodge's charming horses and spend the afternoon or evening trekking through the lush hills of the northern Rangitikei region, before a 3-course dinner back at your accommodation.

Day 3
Refuel for an exhilarating day with a delicious breakfast, and then head out with your guide to the Rangitikei River. Receive a comprehensive training session on technique and safety as you're set up for a heart-racing whitewater trip. Ride the curving rapids along the 7-mile (12-km) stretch of river, paddling through vortexes and natural ramps. Return to your lodge and soak in the refreshing vibe of River Valley one last time.
