Description:

Take an overnight cruise on New Zealand's biggest houseboat, The Rock, for a unique way to explore the Bay of Islands region. Walk on remote islands, view dolphins and other wildlife in their natural habitat, and choose to snorkel or kayak in the great outdoors.

Day 1
Your adventure starts at the Paihia Wharf as you board the 88.5-foot (27-m) houseboat that has cabins situated on the second floor for wonderful views of the islands around you. Catch a glimpse of the wild bottle-nosed dolphins who roam the area hunting and playing. As the sun slowly sets, savor a fresh seafood dinner before some well-deserved sleep in your sleeping bag.

Day 2
Wake up to your complimentary breakfast and enjoy the morning ocean breeze. When you dock on one of remote 144 islands, use the variety of equipment provided by The Rock to play beach volleyball or snorkel at the anchor points for a charming underwater view. As your cruise comes to a close, head back to Paihia Wharf after your fill of adventure.
