Description:
Feel your adrenaline pumping as you raft on the exciting Barron River and cut through the breathtaking Barron Gorge. Enjoy being a part of an exciting team adventure and use the latest equipment and safety standards to ensure an exhilarating yet safe half-day experience.
After pickup from your Cairns, Northern Beaches, or Port Douglas hotel, head northwest for 30 minutes to the Barron Gorge. Acclimate yourself with the charming surroundings before taking part in a full safety briefing and getting geared up with all the necessary protective equipment.
Hop aboard your raft with 7 others, including at least 1 experienced guide. For the next 2 hours, raft along the dam-controlled river and take in the stunning greenery of the rainforest surrounding you. The plentiful white rapids reach up to Grade 3 and keep your heart rate pumping. After your adventure, hop on your shuttle back to the front door of your hotel.
