Description:

On this gripping tour full of flight, hop in a helicopter for a 20-minute ride before hiking through pristine wilderness terrain. Along the way, look for animal tracks, sip sparkling wine, and relish the glorious Canadian Rockies.

Upon arrival at the heliport, board your helicopter, strap in, and reach speeds of 100 miles per hour (60 km/h) on your ascent to 8,000 feet (2,438 m) above the ground. Your expert pilot takes you over Barrier Lake—a manmade reservoir that creates hydroelectric power—and the area's striking landscapes. Pass Heart Mountain, whose peak features a heart-shaped layer of limestone.

After 20 minutes in the air, land in the wilderness and step into your hiking boots. Set out to explore the area, pausing to appreciate its deep, natural quiet. Keep your eye out for animal tracks as you traverse a carefully laid out trail. Visit an alpine lake and take in the towering mountains reflecting off the glassy water.

Once you reach the backcountry, sip on a glass of sparkling wine. Then after you've taken your final photos, return to the heliport, heartened by a day well spent.
