Explore the fascinating city of Chania through alleyways—away from the touristy roads—and explore the city as the locals know it. Learn the history of the town as your guide leads you through the imposing domed Mosque of Djamissis, historic Venetian fortifications, and other must-see landmarks.

Meet your guide at Trimartiri Church in the Old Town, and admire its unique architecture before you set out on your journey. Stroll through this neighborhood, and hear about the impact of World War II in this area. The city was heavily bombed but still remains one of the most charming towns on the island.

Head toward the old Venetian fortifications that date back to 1538, and listen as your guide provides insight into the Venetian era in Crete, before pausing to see the remains of the fortress on its eastern and western sides. Continue to the harbor, where you can see the remarkable Plateia Venizelou and its marble fountain, before strolling along the breakwater of a 19th-century lighthouse.
