Description:
Embark on an extensive boating, kayaking, and walking tour of Everglades National Park. Enjoy a personal, ecological, and historical excursion deep into the park, accompanied by an expert naturalist guide.
Spend your day in Everglades National Park, exploring areas that few actually experience, boating, kayaking, and walking through the park. Take off from Chokoloskee Island and head through the mangrove back country waters and up to the headwaters of the Huston River.
Along the way, travel through the 10,000 Islands, tidal rivers and flats, and the famous Wilderness Waterway. See mangrove creeks and tunnels, coastal island beaches, and remote historical sites. Stop at Wizard Creek—a “super highway” shortcut for both fish and wading birds on their way to the Wilderness Waterway. Take out your camera to capture birds and water fowl as they feed on the “fish soup” that is created as a flurry of fish rush by.
Your return trip is perfectly timed with the setting sun. Enjoy your picturesque paddle back, reflecting on the beauty and wildlife that filled your day.
