Description:

Scotland is famous for many things—kilts, tartan, bagpipes, haggis—but most of all, it's known for its whisky. Embark on this full-day tour and travel to The Famous Grouse distillery, passing by iconic landmarks and admiring breathtaking landscapes along the way.

Set out from Edinburgh, over to the Forth Road Bridge, and head through the picturesque countryside of Fife and Perthshire. The verdant lanes take you to the banks of the River Tay, the city of Perth, and The Hermitage, home to the 18th-century Ossian’s Hall of Mirrors.

Then arrive at the small, preserved town of Dunkeld. Stop for a lunch break and a stroll around the Atholl Memorial Fountain, built in memory of the 6th Duke of Atholl. Take some time to explore the surrounding shops and cafés.

After lunch, your tour continues through the lush landscapes of the Highlands to The Glenturret Distillery, home of the Famous Grouse—the best-selling whisky in Scotland. While here at one of Scotland’s oldest distilleries, join an optional Flight of the Grouse, an interactive tour of Scotland that leads up to a traditional distillery tour and a chance to taste the malty, biscuit blends of the famed scotch straight from the cask.

End your tour with a scenic drive through Gleneagles, home to the world-famous golf course and host to the 2014 Ryder Cup, back to Edinburgh. Admire views of Stirling Castle and the mighty Wallace Monument along the way.
