Description:

On this short riding tour, hop on an electric bike and cover a lot of ground without expending too much energy. See more than you would by foot, but keep the freedom to go off the beaten path. Discover Florence's main attractions and venture further out into the nearby Tuscan countryside.

First, meet in a central location for a safety briefing and some quick practice to become familiar with your bike, which is essentially a regular bike with a nifty battery pack that kicks in as you pedal. This conserves your energy and allows you to focus on seeing all you can. Then set out into the city center. Stop at the Uffizi Gallery and the imposing Florence Cathedral for some fantastic photo opportunities.

Leave the city center and head into the glorious surrounding countryside, where you can cruise along quiet, shaded roads lined with cypress trees. Look out across the rolling Tuscan hills and spot medieval villages and expansive vineyards and olive groves dotting the landscape. Breathe in the fresh country air as you cycle effortlessly back to drop off your bike.
