Description:

Set out for an active adventure in Rio Perdido, a unique thermal spa and adventure complex tucked in the middle of a tropical forest. The park´s natural hot springs, river canyon, and 200-foot (60-m) hanging bridge are all part of this fantastic experience in nature.

Begin with the Canyon Adventure, which features a 15-platform zipline course that spans the Rio Blanco canyon, a pendulum cable, and several hiking trails. Most of these platforms are attached to the canyon walls, adding adrenaline and excitement as you fly over the canyon gorge below. Cross the hanging bridge, and grab onto the Tarzan swing for a white-knuckled jungle experience.

If you've still got some energy to spare, you can go for a ride on a mountain bike or trek along a hiking trail to the Yurro Waterfall or Las Tumbas. Refuel with a lunch of fresh, local cuisine at Rio Perdidio's restaurant, where the chef focuses on healthy and sustainable ingredients. Afterward, take a break and enjoy the warm, healing spring water in a variety of different mineral-rich pools, or float leisurely down the stream on an inner tube.
