Description:
Brace yourself for the ultimate sightseeing adventure, speeding over the waves in a high-powered jet boat and then taking to the skies in a helicopter. Feel the rush as your boat surges across the Broadwater and soar over the beachfront sights of Surfers Paradise on this 90-minute combo thrill ride.
Climb aboard a bright red jet boat in Surfers Paradise, and grab hold of the handlebar. Your pilot hits the gas, and in no time at all you've accelerated to an exhilarating 50 mph (80 km/h). Skim over the open waters beyond the pier, and hang on tight as the boat is thrown into wild maneuvers, from full 360-degree spins to sideways water slides and heart-pounding power-brake stops.
After 55 minutes of white-knuckled adventure, coast back to shore and head to the Gold Coast Sheraton Mirage, where your chopper awaits. Hop in, put on a headset, and feel the adrenaline as the helicopter rises upward and the ground falls away beneath you. From this aerial vantage point, you can take in sweeping panoramas of Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach. Hover over the Southport Strip to look down on Sea World, the Palazza Versace, and the green parks that cover the isthmus, and marvel at the pristine, bone-white expanse of Main Beach. Pass above the Jupiter Casino, the golf course at Royal Pines, and the towering Q1 skyscraper before touching back down to seek out more electrifying activities on foot.
