Description:

Set off on a guided hike up the steep slopes of Pacaya, one of Guatemala’s most active volcanoes. After your trek, reward your tired legs with a take a breaking dip in the Kawilal hot springs or indulge and treat yourself to one of the many spa treatments available.

Explore the dynamic landscapes of the 8,373-foot (2,552-meter) Pacaya volcano as you meet up with an experienced and set out to hike to the crater's edge. Get fiery glimpses of the lava at the crater’s bottom and marvel at the raw energy of this mountain of magma. On your way back down, cool off as you trek through humid forests and continue to the Kawilal hot springs for a well-deserved and rejuvenating swim in steaming thermal baths.

Put on your swimsuit and give your muscles a soothing treatment in one of 12 thermal pools around the hot springs. In addition, you can consider an optional take a breaking or shiatsu massage.
