Description:

Outside of Helsinki, a magnificent winter wonderland awaits. During your half day in Espoo, take a leisurely guided snowshoe hike, warm up with hot drinks and snacks, and enjoy an exhilarating inner tube ride down fast slopes.

After easy pickup, arrive to a Finnish kota (traditional wooden hut), your base for your fun adventure. Step into an enchanted forest, away from the noise of the city center, covered deep with white powdery snow. Finnish winters are cold and crisp, but they don't prevent locals and visitors from fully enjoying the outdoors.

Put on your snowshoes and after a brief orientation, follow your experienced guide into the woods. Soak up the otherworldly stillness and the almost deafening silence, broken only by the tour leader's insightful facts about the natural gifts of the area. Back at the hut, warm up with hot drinks and taste delicious snacks around the fire.

Later, hop on large, inflatable rings and speed down the fast slopes—tubing is a thrilling and popular seasonal pastime. Extend the fun with optional snowboard and ski rental (at your own cost), or sample the full drink and dinner menu available in the delightful cafeteria. Finish by take a breaking in the hut, or continue to play in the snow, building your own snowman.
