Description:

Take to the air above Hobart and witness a charming coastal metropolis. Take off from the Derwent River in a seaplane and admire views of the Tasman Bridge and Mount Wellington. Land at Stewarts Bay for a short narration about famous Port Arthur.

Sit tight and listen through headphones as your pilot takes you over the waters of the Derwent River and points out various historical landmarks. Look out of the window and enjoy aerial views of Tasman Bridge and the Derwent River. If you're lucky you can even spot bottlenose dolphins and whales.

Continue over Mount Wellington, home to over 500 native plant species and ground animals. Then land at Stewarts Bay and see one of Australia's top tourist destinations, Port Arthur Historic Site. Listen to stories of the lives of early convicts in this region before taking off again.

Circle back along Derwent River and revel in the spectacular sight of Cape Raoul, with magnificent coastal seascapes and clifftops. Coast over Northern Bruny Island and slowly descend back in Hobart.
