Description:
Explore the stunning volcanic island of Jeju in a single day on this guided coach tour. Drive past the Mysterious Road, trek the gorgeous Eoseungsaengak Trail, enjoy a traditional Korean lunch, and see the awe-inspiring cliffs at Jusangjeolli.
After your morning pickup, travel in your luxury coach to the Mysterious Road, also known as Dokkaebi Road, and experience the strangeness of the area as you roll steadily uphill. Then, if weather permits, make your way to Eoseungsaengak Trail. Stroll along the track, and, as you reach the peak, see the remains of the military facilities used by the Japanese during the occupation of Korea. Alternatively, head to the Glass Castle, the nation’s first glass museum, which boasts modern glass works from around the world, including Italy, Japan, and the Czech Republic.
Break for a delicious Korean lunch before you head to the majestic Jeonbang Waterfall. Take in the magnificent views of the white stream cascading over the rocky outcrops. Steep cliffs and ancient pine trees surround you as you sip on your complimentary cafè Americano at the nearby coffee shop.
Continue your tour at Yakcheon temple, where you can see the giant Buddhist temple bell in the main hall and wonder at the huge Buddha statue, the largest of its kind in the nation. Before your coach brings you back to your hotel, witness the breathtaking Jusangjeolli cliff—made up of lava-formed stone pillars that are shaped in cubes or hexagons of various sizes piling up along the coast.
