Description:

High in the Kohala mountains, a fun-filled evening awaits you, on a historic 8,500-acre (3,439-ha) working cattle ranch. After a tour of the scenic ranch, enjoy a tasty dinner followed by music and dancing under the stars.

Your attentive driver takes you through the rolling hills of the Kohala mountains. Hear stories from a paniolo (cowboy) about the days when cattle were first introduced to Hawaii, in 1793. Upon arrival at the ranch, the bar is open. Join in paniolo activities, like throwing rope or pitching horseshoes.

Then dine on a savory barbecue dinner of grilled steak and chicken. Side dishes include garlic mashed potatoes, corn, fresh greens, ranch-style baked beans, Hawaiian bread, and macadamia nut pie for dessert. The sounds of live music fill the air; you can even join in some line-dancing fun after your dinner.

Finish off your evening at the campfire, roasting marshmallows for s'mores and taking a look through a Celestron telescope to explore some of the best stargazing on earth.
