The ancient city awaits you in the Alfama district. The narrow, winding streets are lined with shops, restaurants, and Fado clubs all the way to Sao Jorge Castle. Your talking GoCar helps you navigate the hills while providing entertaining and informative commentary.

The Alfama neighborhood encompasses the historic district of Lisbon and is dominated by the impressive Sao Jorge Castle. Built as a defense fortress, the castle overlooks Lisbon and offers some of the best views of the city.

As you gently head down the hill from the castle, you pass through Baixa. This area was rebuilt after the great earthquake of 1755 and is filled with street performers, cafés, and elegant shops. Conclude your tour with a visit to the Church of Santa Engracia, now the National Pantheon. Dignitaries and other notable Portuguese are interred here.
