Description:

Mallorca's famous Caves of Drach are a fascinating group of 4 caves whose walls are covered in other-worldly rock formations; its name translates as “dragon caves.” The caves are also home to Europe's largest underground lake, Martel Lake, on which you can sit back and watch a classical concert.

Descend the steps 82 feet (25 m) underground to explore these magnificent caves, with stalactites and stalagmites reaching toward the center from every angle. See the light show that expert illuminator Carlos Buigas has created to accompany boats filled with classical musicians performing an acoustic concert unlike any other in the world.

After exploring the caves, make a stop at the nearby Mallorca Pearl Factory, where you can learn the process of artificial pearl making, from inception to mounting on a charming piece of jewelry. On your way back, stop at an olive wood factory to see this traditional art of furniture making, and enjoy a stop for some free time in the charming unspoiled town of Porto Cristo.
