Begin your tour at Mosta, a small town whose parish church boasts the world's third-largest dome, which is visible from miles around, and then continue to the crafts village of Ta'Qali. Meander through the streets and see artisans at work as they blow glass, make bobbin lace, and produce pottery.

Next, head to Mdina, Malta's well-preserved old capital. Stroll through the maze-like alleys, and climb the ancient walls for spectacular views across the town before visiting St. Paul’s Cathedral. Marvel at its floor, which is covered with intricately inlaid marble gravestones, and learn about the impressive wall painting at the back of the cathedral that portrays the shipwrecking of St. Paul on Malta.

Make a stop at Rabat—once a thriving suburb of the island’s old capital—where you visit St. Paul’s Grotto. Explore this 17th-century landmark, see the statue of St. Paul, admire the silver gallery hanging from the ceiling, and explore The Sanctuary of St. Publius. Your tour is complete with a visit to the Dingli Cliffs, the highest point of the Maltese islands.
