Listen to an explanation of the city's 16th-century transformation—when Naples played a key role in all economic activities for the Florentines, Genoese, and Spanish Bourbons—which resulted in the flourishing of Baroque painting and architecture.

Admire paintings by Luca Giordano and Giovanni Lanfranco and sculptures by Cosimo Fanzago at the Church of Gesù Nuovo—a diverse work of Baroque architecture. Then analyze different chapels and churches, such as the Cappella Sansevero and San Domenico Maggiore.
