Description:

Embrace the quintessential Louisiana landscape on the bayou. Head out on a custom-built all-weather boat to uncover the mysteries of the swamps, bayous, and the Cajun joie de vivre (joy of living).

Float along the waterways and landscapes of southern Louisiana. Discover how the Cajuns turned soup into gumbo, the washboard into a musical instrument, and the swamps into a paradise.

Observe the nesting grounds of alligators, egrets, raccoons, nutria, and many species of snakes. Learn why the wetlands are disappearing due to coastal erosion and how many are attempting to reverse that damage. Be sure to bring your camera to capture the bons temps (good times) on the bayou.
