Description:
No trip to Hawaii is complete without seeing its iconic mountain peaks and this helicopter tour offers views of Diamond Head, Mt. Olomana, and Nu'uanu Pali. Along the way, admire Makapu'u Point and Pearl Harbor.
With your choice of flying with or without doors on the helicopter, opt to feel the excitement of flight with the wind rushing by as you float above the island's amazing valleys. Or sightsee with the doors on the aircraft to see the same incredible vistas with a more serene atmosphere. Either choice is a good one because every seat is a window seat.
Starting along the South Shore, get a new look at Diamond Head and the Waikiki skyline. Then continue to the calm waters of stunning Hanauma Bay with cliffs and rocky outcrops from the island's volcanic origin. Rounding Makapu'u Point, soar above the Windward Coast with its sapphire waters, expanses of white-sand beach, and shadows of towering palis, or cliffs, of the Ko'olau mountain range.
Next, cruise inland for a view of the 3 peaks of Mt. Olomana before a stunning passage by the Nu'uanu Pali and the lush rainforest covering its slopes. As your tour ends with a flight above Pearl Harbor and the USS Arizona Memorial, you have a new understanding of the origins of Oahu's charming landscapes and its fiery past.
