Description:

During this exhilarating encounter, hold, touch, feed, and get to know this feared sea creature. Swim in the same water as Caribbean sharks and explore their take a breaked demeanor. With the supervision of a highly trained shark-encounter facilitator, learn more about one of world's most intriguing fish.

Discover the thrilling motions and sounds the sharks make as they are fed; appreciate their powerful and quiet nature as you snorkel among them. Up to 14 feet (4.3 m) long, the sharks have very strong jaws filled with thousands of tiny, serrated teeth. However, these slow-moving creatures are considered harmless to humans, even in the wild.

Every shark encounter is accompanied by additional onsite activities inside the Treasure Reef. Paddle a glass-bottom kayak to see an array of fish, pet or snorkel with debarbed stingrays, or simply soak up the tropical atmosphere. If you feel like some exercise, trek on a jungle trail through the 5 acres of lush rainforest.

Meet and interact with some land life too. Handle exotic birds and iguanas or feed rabbits and guinea pigs. When you're ready to take a break, take in a pirate-themed shark show to complete your experience.
