Description:

Journey back to Penang's romantic years at the UNESCO World Heritage Site in George Town on this 4-day tour to some of the state's grandest scenery. Admire the well-preserved heritage buildings that evoke nostalgic feeling and memories of Old Penang, which became known as the Pearl of the Orient.

Day 1:
Be picked up from Penang International Airport and head to your hotel. After checking in, you get the chance to unravel and take a break for the rest of the evening.

Day 2:
Your day begins as you start to explore the old George Town. Your first stop is Fort Cornwallis, built in the early 18th century and the largest standing fort in Malaysia. Next, make your way to Penang Museum and learn the history of the Straits Settlements: wonder at the collections of artifacts of the British Malaya era and some of the charming street art at Peranakan Museum.

After all that adventure, break for lunch at Suffolk House, once home to the founder of colonial Penang, Captain Francis Light. In the evening, refresh your energy at Perut Rumah, a restaurant serving authentic Nyonya delicacies, and enjoy a take a breaking trishaw ride through the historical buildings and landmarks of the colonial era.

Day 3:
Reminisce with memories from Penang's history as you visit the Colonial Penang Museum, where you can imagine the lifestyle of the city's British administrators and wealthy merchants. Next, climb the stunning Penang Hill on the newly refurbished funicular train and admire a birds-eye view of the city from 2,411 feet (735 m) above ground. Enjoy lunch at David Browns, a quintessential colonial-style restaurant at the summit.

In the evening, you can opt for a dinner at E&O Hotel, the first hotel built in colonial-era Malaya.

Day 4:
Take some time in the morning to take a break before your transfer takes you to Penang International Airport for your onward flight.
