Start off your tour with a hotel pickup and visit to the Kek Lok Si Temple. This temple boasts gifts from Chinese emperors because of its beauty and serenity. One of the highlights is the 7-tier pagoda that hosts 10,000 statues of Buddha. Marvel at the 100-foot (30.2-m) bronze statue of the Goddess of Mercy overlooking the temple.
Next, take the funicular train to the peak of Penang Hill. On your train ride to the top, pass by lush greenery and interesting sights. After climbing 2,700 feet (833 m) above sea level, enjoy the cool breeze and fresh air. Be amazed by a charming view of Georgetown and taste some refreshments while you're here. End your day with a scenic ride back to your Penang hotel.
