This full-day tour is full of high speed and history. Meet an astronaut, view the Space Shuttle Atlantis, and learn about the country's great feats of space travel at the Kennedy Space Center. Then take an exhilarating ride on the St. Johns River in an airboat.
Upon your arrival at the Kennedy Space Center, enjoy a warm welcome from a NASA astronaut. After the meet-and-greet, begin your exploration of the enormous campus, learning about the history of space travel as you go. Then take a narrated tour, which includes standing inside the launch control room and inspecting a Saturn V rocket, the largest ever to fly. Snap pictures of the shuttle launch pads and if you're lucky, see a space shuttle there.
Continue your time at the amazing Shuttle Launch Experience, a simulator ride that replicates the sights, sounds, and feelings of an actual shuttle launch. Strap in and hold on as you take off vertically to experience the incredible sensation of blasting off into space and orbiting the planet. Your 5-minute thrill ride culminates in a breathtaking view of Earth.
Finally, ride over to the St. Johns River and board an airboat for 30 minutes of high-speed adventure. As you glide across the water, explore the beauty of the swamps and look out for exotic plants, flowers, and wildlife, including the famous American alligator.
