Start your city tour with a visit to the famous Brugal Rum Factory—1 of the largest producers of sugar cane rum in the world. Then, feel like you are transported back to the 16th century with a stop at San Felipe Fort. Built by Spaniards and now a national monument, the fortress was created to protect the port from pirates.

Next, admire the Victorian-style architecture in Central Park and take a break to see the splendid Amber Museum with its collection of precious stones. Spend some free time sightseeing or shopping for local, original souvenirs to delight your friends and family back home.

Your tour ends with a cable car ride up Mount Isabel de Torres, situated at 2,600 feet (812 m) above sea level and offering wonderful panoramic city views.
