Description:

Break away for an outback safari through local towns, farms, and shops. Taste freshly made chocolate at a cocoa farm, enjoy unlimited beverages, and even take a stab at bodyboarding in the cool blue surf.

Climb aboard a 4-wheel-drive safari truck for a fun and creative and way to reach more remote sites and learn about how families interact with the island's culture and rural industries. Visit with and observe Dominican schoolchildren in the classroom as they work hard at their studies.

Appreciate the expertise of your English-speaking guide as you sample coffee and chocolate prepared with locally grown ingredients at a nearby plantation, as well as fresh-picked fruit and sugarcane. Bring your camera along and take a few pictures of native crocodiles, iguanas, and turtles.
