Description:

Spend a day at Mirabilandia, Italy's largest theme parks. Situated in the picturesque Emilia-Romagna countryside, the 197-acre (80-ha) park offers a huge range of extreme roller coasters, thrill rides, water adventures, and daily shows.

If you like your white-knuckle thrills, you should head to iSpeed, an exhilarating roller coaster that accelerates you from 0 to 60 miles per hour (100 km/h) in just 2.2 intense seconds. You shouldn't miss Katun, an inverted roller coaster that towers over the Mayan City of Sian Ka'an, and of course Divertical, the world's tallest water coaster.

If all that adrenaline-inducing fun is too much to take, there are gentler rides to enjoy, including Eurowheel, Europe's highest Ferris wheel, and the refreshing water rides of Rio Bravo and Autosplash. Let's not forget the kids—there's plenty at Mirabilandia to keep them entertained, including the fun, kangaroo-themed roller coaster Flying Arturo, as well as Ottoland, a playground of colorful balls and soft bouncers.
