Description:

Take a detour to a refreshing island paradise as you ride the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea to Saona by speedboat. Stop along the way to wade in a natural pool with a swim-up bar, and to observe a sea turtle sanctuary in Mano Juan.

Zip along the coastline of the East National Park in your speedboat, on your way to the first refreshing dip of the day. Piscina Natural, an enclosed area in the sand filled with shallow water, is home to thousands of starfish. Wade in the shimmering water and enjoy a cool drink from the floating bar.

Your journey continues across the Catuano Canal—the stretch that separates the mainland from the Saona Island—until you reach Canto de la Playa. At this pristine beach, you strap on your snorkel gear and descend into the water to see colorful schools of tropical fish and stunning coral.

You move onto the village of Mano Juan, where you visit a sea turtle sanctuary that’s home to several species that use the park's shores as nesting sites. After a tasty seaside meal at Canto de la Playa, take a stroll on the beach or stick your toes in the water before heading back to the pier as the sun sets.
