Description:

Climb aboard a 24-passenger sightseeing bus for a local-led tour of the City by the Bay. Cruise past San Fran landmarks like the Cliff House, pass through the Haight Ashbury, jump off the bus to sample some of the city’s famed pizza and pasta in North Beach, and snap seaside photos at Ocean Beach.

After you’re picked up from your hotel, set out to explore the city in comfort, cruising up and over the city’s hilly streets in a small bus. Roll past the stately edifices of the Civic Center’s government buildings, through the vibrant bustle of Chinatown, and by the hippie-packed parks of the Haight Ashbury. In Fisherman’s Wharf, watch for barking sea lions lounging on the piers and wooden boats bobbing offshore.

Breathe in the sweet aroma of chocolate at Ghirardelli Square before making a stop in North Beach, where you can bite into some of Little Italy’s best oven-baked pizza and hearty pasta. Continue around the tip of the peninsula, taking in views of Fort Mason, Marina Green, and the choppy waters of the bay.

Stop to pose for a picture with the Golden Gate Bridge as your backdrop, and then ride through the tree-shaded, winding roads of Golden Gate Park toward the coast. Here, you can see the iconic Cliff House and stretch your legs with a walk along the sands of charming Ocean Beach before you’re dropped back at your hotel.
